Tender is a short film written by Etan Marciano and directed by Michelle Bossy. A young man grows interested in expanding his Jewish heritage and attempts to embrace religion, but in the mix of enlightenment, he also experiences hatred.
In working on this project, I juggled producing and designing. More of my work covered budgeting, location scouting plus managing, as well as contracts. Another unique element of this short film included sensitivity regarding religion. In depicting the verisimilitude of hatred, there was hate speech graffiti that had to be designed and applied. Contrastingly, there were also many objects of significant religious importance that had to be handled delicately.
